I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT). I work with individuals, couples and families who are struggling to communicate, and are wanting more connection and openness in their relationships.

I understand how our lives can be chaotic and how we can feel alone in that. I will meet you with an open heart and help you feel comfortable and cared for. I will treat you with compassion when you are feeling tender, and help you see your situation from a gentler viewpoint in order to find your way out of negative thought patterns and anxiety.

My approach to therapy centres around the belief that there are no lost causes. You have a story that deserves to be heard, and I create a non-judgmental, safe environment in which to tell your story. I truly love the moments when I see people move through crisis in order to connect with themselves and their loved ones in a meaningful way.

I come from a background in business, and have also spent the past 20 years volunteering with children, youth and families, helping them learn skills and find joy in the face of illness and loss. The most important thing I have learned working with children, couples and families is that there are many different kinds of relationships and every one of them deserves a chance.

I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT). I work with couples who are struggling in their relationships and are looking to find or revive a sense of deep, authentic connection to self and others.

I believe that our relationships can challenge us, help us grow, teach us important lessons, bring us deep, authentic connection, provide a sense of purpose and meaning, and nourish our hearts and minds, but if not tended to properly, relationships can cause immense pain and suffering, disconnection, loneliness, isolation and distrust.

At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that within each of us is a basic desire to feel seen and heard, to ultimately feel validated in our experience. My priority in sessions is to build a safe, trusting therapeutic alliance with you as a stepping stone toward greater understanding of yourself and your loved one, as well as fostering more open, honest and loving communication.

Having worked in the Health & Wellness field for over 10 years, I recognize the impact our relationships can have on our overall health and happiness. As such, when I stepped into the world of therapy, I knew I wanted to be able to support others to cultivate healthier, connective, loving relationships, both with self and other.

I’m a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor Candidate (RTCc #2793) with Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT). I am trained in working with couples, individuals and families.

It is my mission to create a safe, collaborative environment for you as a couple to connect and grow through, or heal from, potentially painful disruptions or challenges together; and individually, when navigating loss, change, anxiety or simply feeling stuck.

Though I utilize training and experience in our sessions, I truly value the importance of you being human first and want you to know that I have also walked the path of suffering, trauma, and relationship breakdown. I have an empathetic awareness of the challenges that your relationship brings, and also the healing and vitality that connection and support can create.

I believe your choice to pursue healing is a radical act of hope, that another reality is possible, and I believe that all human beings are equally and inherently worthy of a rich, whole, and meaningful life.

It is my hope that we can gently, collaboratively, and steadfastly create the change you are seeking.

I’m a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT), certified teacher and trained Co-Active Relationship Coach, based in Vancouver, BC.

I work with couples, families, parents and individuals who are experiencing relationship difficulties and want to restore the love and connection that you have been struggling to recover.

My experiences as a teacher and high school counsellor, and now in my private practice working with couples and individuals, taught me the importance of relationships in everything we do. Seeing people in the discomfort, pain and suffering caused when relationships don’t function how they could, led me to specializing in relationship counselling and being the Clinic Director of Vida Relationships.
