BOOKING POLICY
NEW CLIENTS:

We require 24 hours notice for your first appointment.

Please specify in the booking notes if your booking is for individual counselling, couples counselling or discernment counselling.

When booking a couples appointment or couples consultation, please use the ‘Add a Family Member’ option to include your partner.

For couples counselling, both partners are required to attend from the outset, including for consultations. Consultations cannot proceed unless both parties are present.

All new clients MUST complete an intake form before their first appointment. This is mandatory.

Consultations are offered on a complimentary basis and are reserved specifically for you. Please note that missed consultations or cancellations within 24 hours are not re-scheduled and result in forfeiture of the consultation time.

Consultation
Consultations are a meet-and-greet opportunity to ask questions regarding the logistics of therapy, such as types of conditions your therapist might treat, training your therapist has undertaken, methodology employed, extended benefit coverage, types, and lengths of sessions etc.
In-Person Counselling for Individuals
Individual counselling is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained mental health clinician in a safe, caring and confidential environment. Counselling allows individuals to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviours, and work through challenging or influential memories.

The goal of couples counselling is to strengthen your relationship through structured, emotionally focused conversations that build understanding, communication, and repair. While the focus is the relationship, relevant individual factors may also be explored. Progress typically requires openness, accountability, and a shared commitment to the process.
