I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT). I work with individuals, couples and families who are struggling to communicate, and are wanting more connection and openness in their relationships.

I understand how our lives can be chaotic and how we can feel alone in that. I will meet you with an open heart and help you feel comfortable and cared for. I will treat you with compassion when you are feeling tender, and help you see your situation from a gentler viewpoint in order to find your way out of negative thought patterns and anxiety.

My approach to therapy centres around the belief that there are no lost causes. You have a story that deserves to be heard, and I create a non-judgmental, safe environment in which to tell your story. I truly love the moments when I see people move through crisis in order to connect with themselves and their loved ones in a meaningful way.

I come from a background in business, and have also spent the past 20 years volunteering with children, youth and families, helping them learn skills and find joy in the face of illness and loss. The most important thing I have learned working with children, couples and families is that there are many different kinds of relationships and every one of them deserves a chance.

I’m a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT), certified teacher and trained Co-Active Relationship Coach, based in Vancouver, BC.

I work with couples, families, parents and individuals who are experiencing relationship difficulties and want to restore the love and connection that you have been struggling to recover.

My experiences as a teacher and high school counsellor, and now in my private practice working with couples and individuals, taught me the importance of relationships in everything we do. Seeing people in the discomfort, pain and suffering caused when relationships don’t function how they could, led me to specializing in relationship counselling and being the Clinic Director of Vida Relationships.
